I don’t know about you but I like tea, and all the little cute accessories that come with brewing loose tea. I find certain blends soothing, not only that but on occasion I have found certain tea helpful for minor aches or stomach issues I get, like inflammation.
Last weekend my family and I went shopping we passed by a new store that sold tea called 'Vita Be Well', located on 8503 4th Ave, Brooklyn. We walked in and the atmosphere was so calm it took us away from the busy street. The owner of the shop was so nice, and knowledgeable about the tea she had on the shelves. What I loved most about this tea store was there were tables and chairs so customers can sit and sample the tea. It wasn't just a tiny thimble sized sample, she brewed a proper amount and let us take our time. We chatted for a bit about tea, and for me this customer experience really set this shop apart.
The tea we opted to try was loose saffron tea, I never tried it before and it was nice and smooth, we also bought another small assortment of tea from the shelf. When we were ready to leave the owner poured the remaining brew of tea into a to go cup for us. It was a lovely experience and my daughter loved it, she even wanted to give the owner a hug when we were leaving. We'll definitely be heading to this shop next time we are in the neighborhood, I can't wait to try some custom blends! :)
