2 Ways to Mix-up Muesli

Recently I’ve switched up my breakfast routine a bit, I used to eat muffin, croissant, or anything with bread for breakfast, that daily diet was giving me muffin top; so I decided I would switch it up.

I started with yogurt mixed with granola, and honey, sometimes I’d add in chopped fruit. One day (as I was coupon hunting), I came across Muesli, and decided to try that in my breakfast as opposed to granola which I find can be a little tough to chew.

I’ve heard of Muesli before but never really tried it on my own. I’m so happy I gave it a go, to me it’s a blend of oatmeal, cereal, and seeds, aka all around goodness. I tried Bob’s Red Mill Muesli, Gluten Free. I like this brand as I've tried their granola before so when I saw they made this I figured it’d be good to try out.

Here are a couple of recipes:

Breakfast Yogurt Muesli

½ c. Yogurt (I like Siggi’s yogurt, it’s a Icelandic recipe, not 100% sure what that is but it seems in between whole yogurt and greek)

2 tbsp. Muesli

¼ tsp. Cinnamon

2 diced strawberries

Banana Dessert

½ c. Yogurt greek or Siggi’s

2 Mashed bananas

Mix the yogurt and bananas and freeze for one hour.

Put ¼ cup of Nutella in a bowl and microwave, mix in muesli and add a little to the banana ice cream. Eat and enjoy!
