Don’t pass up Kidpass

A co-worker first recommended this app to me, it’s called Kidpass.  My husband and I checked out the app but weren’t certain if it was something we’d use often.

The basic premise is you sign up, we got a free month trial, and the app gives a number of credits. You give some basic information about your child, like name and search for classes around your zip code. The app works with different kid classes, sport groups, and drop-in playgroups in select areas. You use the credits on the app to sign your child up for an activity.

We had a great experience so far in trying out a class for our toddler, it got her used to being out with other kids. We hope to sign her up for a few different activities going forward, to allow her to experience more than just a single type of class. For example, I saw a dance class and a

soccer class for tots near our area, and want her to experience both. I think if she finds something she really loves that we can sign her up directly but for now Kidpass is an amazing option for us, especially since she’s young I’d rather not tie her down to a single activity.

Pricing is fair, and has four options. The Starter Plan is $19/mo which gives you 3 credits (keep in mind depending on the class one may cost 3 credits) but you can visit any provider up to three times a month.  The second is the Basic plan which gives 10 credits at $49/mo, also if you don’t use all your credits they rollover for 45 days. The other two options are a little more but great for larger families or kids that love lots of activities. I found the app very simple to use.
